SwimSafer 2.0 is Singapore's national water-safety programme, run across six progressive stages. Our coaches teach and assess every stage, from first floats to the Gold award.
Stage 1 · Water confidence
Water adjustment, breath control, and first floats and glides.
Stage 2 · Independence
Unassisted entries, sculling, and a 25 m continuous swim.
Stage 3 · Four strokes
All four strokes introduced, building to a 50 m continuous swim.
Stage 4 · Bronze award
100 m across four strokes, with water-rescue skills introduced.
Stage 5 · Silver award
Timed strokes, dive entry, and the H.E.L.P. survival posture.
Stage 6 · Gold award
400 m across six strokes, plus advanced rescue and survival skills.

Private 1-to-1 starts from $40 a lesson. Semi-private (2 to 3 pax) and group lessons (4 to 6 pax) split the rate, so they cost less per head. The final quote depends on the coach, pool, and lesson length, and is always confirmed before you commit.
Kids from 2.5 years, adults, and senior citizens aged 55 and up. We coach total beginners, stroke correction, water fitness, and returning swimmers fixing old habits.
Yes. Many of our learners, both children and adults, start with no swimming experience at all. Early lessons focus on water comfort, breathing, and safety before any strokes are introduced.
It depends on the swimmer's age, how comfortable they are in water, and how often they practise. Most beginners build basic water confidence within the first few lessons, and your coach reviews progress with you as you go.
Yes. You can book a private 1-to-1 lesson, a semi-private lesson with 2 to 3 swimmers, or a small group of 4 to 6. Group lessons split the rate, so they cost less per head.
Yes. We coach seniors aged 55 and up at a gentle, unhurried pace, with a focus on water confidence and joint-friendly fitness. There is no maximum age.
Yes. Tell us your preference when you message us and we'll match a coach from our roster accordingly.
Your condo pool (islandwide) or a public swimming complex. We coach across Singapore on weekdays and weekends, with daytime and evening slots.
Swimwear, a towel, and goggles. A swim cap helps for longer hair. Your coach brings any teaching aids that are needed.
Yes. Every coach is registered on Sport Singapore's National Registry of Coaches (NROC), which requires accreditation through the SG-Coach programme (formerly NCAP), a Basic Sport Science certificate, current Standard First Aid with CPR and AED, and Singapore Life Saving Society (SLSS) awards. Coaches are also SwimSafer Instructor certified to teach and assess the national programme, and many hold international qualifications such as STA or AUSTSWIM.
SwimSafer 2.0 is Singapore's national water-safety programme, run by Sport Singapore and Singapore Aquatics. It has six progressive stages: Stage 1 builds water confidence; Stage 2 covers a 25 m swim; Stage 3 introduces all four strokes; and Stages 4, 5 and 6 award the Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates, adding rescue, survival and longer-distance skills. Our coaches teach and assess every stage.
