Why serious swimmers train at OCBC
OCBC Aquatic Centre at the Singapore Sports Hub is the venue that hosted the 2015 SEA Games swimming: a FINA-standard competition facility with a 50 m main pool, a separate dive pool, and competition-grade water filtration. For stroke correction, lap-fitness adults and any swimmer on a competitive pathway, dedicated lap lanes and proper lane discipline genuinely matter: it is far easier to fix a freestyle catch or hold a pace set when you are not weaving around casual bathers.
Pick your slot carefully
Stadium MRT (Circle Line) is about an 8-minute walk and there is ample Sports Hub parking. OCBC runs to a public-session timetable that is tighter than a heartland pool, and the entry fee is higher, so we plan adult and stroke-correction lessons into off-peak windows where you get clean, uncrowded lanes. This is not the right pool for a frightened first-timer; start them at a heartland teaching pool and graduate to OCBC once they are swimming lengths.
Best for stroke work and the competitive pathway
Most of our OCBC bookings are adult stroke-correction and returning swimmers rebuilding pace. For the surrounding districts and other central complexes, see our Central Singapore coverage.
