Serving the Ang Mo Kio and Yishun catchment
Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex (on the Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West edge) is an established North-side pool with steady demand from Ang Mo Kio, Yishun, Bishan and the newer Lentor estates. It runs a competition pool plus teaching and wading pools, and its long operating history means the coaching community knows it well, which is useful when you want a coach who already understands the venue's lane layout and busy windows.
Open-air: weather planning matters
Like most North-side complexes it is open-air, so lightning-alert closures are routine through the monsoon months. We schedule with weather buffers and favour morning slots, which are the driest and least likely to be interrupted. Getting there
